Hello My Name Is...
Ms. Mindy DeGeer
I work at Minnewaska Area Schools as an ECSE teacher.
I have been teaching for 19 years; the majority of my career has been with Minnewaska Area Schools. I earned my bachelors degree in 1995 from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of ECSE programs including an inclusive preschool program, a program designed specifically for children with autism spectrum disorders, an alternate day kindergarten program, and most recently birth to 2 early intervention. The importance of early intervention cannot be stressed enough. There is documented research proving the positive effects early intervention has on young children and families. I have seen these effects first hand and am thrilled to be a part of a program that makes such a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. If you have concerns about your young child or have questions about development, please contact our ECSE department at 320-239-1403.
We would be happy to help!
