Transforming Classrooms for Tomorrow’s Opportunities

To truly Engage Every Student, Every Day, we need learning spaces that inspire curiosity and enable exploration. The bond referendum’s learning space improvements are essential to bringing our mission to life.

Today’s students need environments supporting collaboration, hands-on learning, and career preparation. Through our three career pathways (Business Communications and Entrepreneurship; Health Sciences and Human Services; and Agriculture, Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology), students gain real-world skills. However, current facilities limit how deeply we can engage students in these programs.

Proposed improvements include:

  • Modernized CTE Labs: Updated equipment and flexible spaces for hands-on career training
  • Transformed Media Centers: Dynamic learning hubs with collaboration spaces and technology integration
  • Flexible Classrooms: Spaces adapting to different teaching methods and learning styles
  • Technology Infrastructure: Supporting modern educational technology throughout all spaces

When students learn nursing skills in proper medical labs or practice manufacturing with current technology, they’re truly engaged in their education. These improvements ensure Minnewaska graduates are competitive whether entering the workforce, starting businesses, or pursuing higher education.
