8th Annual Day of Caring
With a commitment to community collaboration and service, Minnewaska Area Schools is proud to host the 8th Annual Day of Caring on May 13.
The Day of Caring brings MAS students and staff together to make meaningful contributions to our local communities by completing projects requested by community members. Projects may include tasks such as washing ground floor windows, yard work including raking, gardening, and other outdoor tasks.
“We look forward to this event each year as it’s a way we can give back to our community and express our thanks for their support,” says Superintendent Chip Rankin. “Day of Caring also embodies our educational mission of encouraging an attitude of gratitude and fostering genuine appreciation.”
Community members may request projects by completing the registration form by April 30. If selected, volunteers will arrive between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on your designated day. If you have additional questions, please reach out to the high school office at 320.239.1223 or email dayofcaring@isd2149.org. Volunteers are ready to work rain or shine!
