Minnewaska Area Schools is seeking Custodial Substitute(s). This position is responsible for general cleaning, light maintenance, and assisting with building setup as needed. Hours will vary and may include afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends, depending on district needs. This position is on an on-call, as-needed basis.

Minnewaska Area Schools has a Long-Term Sub for a 7-12 Social Studies Teacher position available beginning the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Current MN Teaching license required. 

Minnewaska Area Schools has a Long-Term Substitute Media Center Specialist position available beginning approximately mid-April through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. The Media Center Specialist assists with the effective and efficient operation of the media center, including helping students and staff use its resources and facilities, as well as cataloging, processing, and circulating both digital and physical media. Qualifications: Experience working in a school media center or library preferred; ability to work effectively with students and staff required.

Minnewaska Area Schools, Glenwood, MN, seeks an experienced individual to provide exemplary leadership to staff, students, parents, and the community as the 4-8 Principal of Minnewaska Area Middle School beginning July 1, 2026. As a school leader, the Middle School Principal is responsible for setting an ambitious vision for student achievement and leading the school community to realize that vision. The Middle School Principal will strategically implement the school’s mission, manage resources, lead students, and manage staff to ensure every student is prepared to succeed. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as needed. Able to support the vision of a model rural school district. Job requirements hold current licensure as a Principal in Minnesota.
