12th Annual Dollars for Scholars Phone-A-Thon Fundraiser

Minnewaska Area Schools is excited to announce the 12th Annual Dollars for Scholars® Phone-A-Thon, scheduled for Sunday, February 23rd, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. During this important event, Minnewaska Area School students will be calling community members to request contributions that directly support scholarships for the 2025 graduating seniors of Minnewaska Area High School.

This year’s fundraising goal is $20,000, and every dollar raised will go toward helping our students achieve their educational aspirations. The Dollars for Scholars program is a vital resource for many students, providing them with financial support to pursue higher education and career opportunities.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community,” said Mary Walsh, School Social Worker at Minnewaska Area Schools. “Your support not only helps our students financially but also shows them that their community believes in their potential and future success.”

Community members are encouraged to answer their phones on February 23rd and give generously. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of our students and continue building a brighter future.
