Celebrate Laker Pride at Homecoming 2025!

It’s time to show your LakerPride! Homecoming Week kicks off Sunday, September 21, and runs through Saturday, September 27! The week is packed with fun, school spirit, and community traditions for students, families, and friends.

Homecoming Week Events

Sunday, September 21

• Coronation – 4:00 p.m., Minnewaska Area High School Auditorium
• Tailgating Fundraiser – 5:00 p.m., Football Plaza
• Powderpuff Football Game – 6:30 p.m., Football Field

Monday, September 22

• Students will find fun activities in the hallways and at lunch.

Tuesday, September 23

• Homecoming Swim & Dive Spectacular – 7:30 p.m.
  (Open to all 9–12th graders.)

Wednesday, September 24

• Movie Night – 7:30 p.m. with free popcorn, Grades 9–12.

Thursday, September 25

• Home Volleyball Match
• Junior vs. Senior Game immediately following the match.

Friday, September 26 – Spirit Day 💙💚

• Homecoming Parade – 4:00 p.m., downtown Starbuck (lineup at the Starbuck Community Center).

• Tailgate with Food Trucks – Pre-game at the Football Plaza.
• Varsity Football Game – 7:00 p.m. vs. Holdingford.
• Halftime Fun – Featuring inflatable races and more!

Saturday, September 27

• Homecoming Dance – 8:00–11:00 p.m., Auxiliary Gym.
  Theme: “A Night in New York”
  This year’s Homecoming promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Laker spirit, tradition, and community. Whether you’re cheering in the stands, marching in the parade, or dancing the night away, we can’t wait to see you there!
