Help Every Child Succeed: Become a MAS Tutor

You can be the key to a child’s successful learning by becoming a Minnewaska Area Schools (MAS) tutor! Through a partnership with AmeriCorps and Ampact, MAS is hiring tutors for the upcoming 2023-24 school year — no teaching experience necessary.

Full- and part-time positions are available for 18, 25 or 35 hours per week.

• With your help, we can give kids more opportunities and confidence. As a tutor you will:
• Serve in a school setting, both full-time and part-time options are available
• Work with students who need extra practice and support
• Receive many benefits, including a regular stipend, extra money for college or student loans, health insurance and more
• Receive excellent training and support
