Voting Information for the Bond Referendum

🚨 Important Voting Information for Minnewaska Area Schools 🚨
Early and absentee voting is open now through November 3, 2025 at the Minnewaska Area Schools District Office (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, closed Oct. 16–17).
⚠️ Attention Mail Ballot Precinct Voters: This election is run by the school district, not the county. That means ballots will NOT be mailed to you automatically. To vote, you must either:
✔️ Vote absentee at the District Office, OR
✔️ Vote in person on Election Day.

One of the most important details for voters to note is that this election is being administered by the school district, not Pope County. During county-run elections, many precincts operate by mail ballot, and voters in those precincts automatically receive a ballot in the mail. That will not be the case for this election. Ballots will not be mailed out. All voters, whether they typically vote by mail or not, must either vote absentee or in person on Election Day.

Voters may request an absentee ballot by calling the district office at 320-239-4800 or by applying online at the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website: https://mnvotes.sos.mn.gov/abrequest/index. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Minnewaska Area School District Office no later than Election Day on November 4, 2025. Please note that absentee ballots cannot be delivered to the Pope County Courthouse on Election Day.

📅 Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025
🕖 Time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Pope County Courthouse – Community Room (130 E. Minnesota Ave, Glenwood)
🔑 Absentee ballots must be returned to the District Office only (not the courthouse) by Election Day, November 4, located at 25122 State Highway 28, Glenwood.
