MAS Launches Superintendent Search and Community Survey

The School Board of Minnewaska Area Schools is conducting a search for its next superintendent. The search follows the announcement that Superintendent Chip Rankin has accepted a new position. Applications will be accepted through March 25. The new superintendent is expected to begin July 1, 2026.

As part of the search process, the Board is asking community members to complete a brief survey on the district website. Your input is valuable in helping identify the qualities and priorities important in the district’s next leader. The survey is open through March 18. Hard copies are also available at the district office, 25122 State Highway 28, Glenwood, MN 56334, and should be returned there by March 18 to be included with the online results.

Take the survey and learn more at www.minnewaska.k12.mn.us/superintendent-search/

The survey is anonymous and results will be compiled by Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA), whom the Board has contracted to guide the search process. Contact Lee Warne, MSBA Executive Search Team, at 507-828-2468 with any questions.
