Flexible Learning Year Calendar Gets Approved by MDE

The Minnewaska School District is proud to announce that it has received approval from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) to implement a flexible learning year calendar for the 2023-2024 school year. 

With the implementation of the flexible learning year calendar, the Minnewaska School District will be starting school on Monday, August 28, 2023, before Labor Day, similar to this past school year, and to allow time to complete some building projects this summer. The last day for students will be on May 23, 2024, before Memorial Day.
