The 2023 Homecoming Parade is coming up on Friday, September 29, and we encourage all businesses and organizations to be a part of the parade! Register now to secure your spot in the parade.

MAS 2023 Homecoming Parade

Friday, September 29 | 1:30 PM

Minnewaska Area High School

Parade details:

• We will have parade announcer(s)!
• Parade floats can walk, pedal, or be motorized.
• Candy and promotional items MAY be thrown or handed out at the parade.
• NO brochures or literature may be handed out during the parade.
• Animals in the parade must have a “clean-up crew.”
• Cash prizes will be awarded to school organizations/athletic teams for the best float: 1st ($300) and 2nd place ($200).  
• Judges are anonymous and will be along the parade route. Winners will be announced during the pep fest following the parade.
• Volunteers will direct people to the proper staging areas on the event day.
• Units will be placed in the lineup at the discretion of the staging volunteers/and or staff.

**Cancelations due to weather will be announced by 8:00 a.m. on the parade day. If canceled, there will not be a make-up date.**
