Preparing Learners for Life

Preparing Learners for Life

Minnewaska Area High Schools are proud to announce the new Minnewaska Career Pathways program. Our goal at MAHS is to find new and innovative ways to engage and prepare our students for college, careers, and life. The Minnewaska Career Pathways program allows us to offer our students in grades 9-12 unique learning opportunities.

Students will be able to find their passion through three distinct career pathways: Business Communications and Entrepreneurship; Health Sciences and Human Services; and Agriculture, Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology. Students will have the opportunity to prepare for specific careers and gain real-world experience, explore career and college opportunities, and partner with local businesses to expand their learning through work experience.

“We believe that learning happens both inside and outside of the classroom,” says Superintendent Chip Rankin. “Through Minnewaska Career Pathways, we’ll be able to offer our students even more hands-on learning opportunities ensuring they are challenged and supported as they prepare for life after high school.”

Minnewaska Career Pathways will be implemented in Fall 2024.
