Minnewaska Career Pathways
Through the Minnewaska Career Pathways program, we offer learning opportunities that are as unique as our students. Students will be able to find their passion through three distinct career pathways: Business Communications and Entrepreneurship; Health Sciences and Human Services; and Agriculture, Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology. Students have the opportunity to prepare for specific careers and gain real-world experience, explore career and college opportunities, and partner with local businesses to expand their learning through work experience.
Build Lasting Relationships
Beginning in 9th grade, every MAHS student is partnered with an advisor to connect with throughout their next four years. Our Laker Pride Advisory provides opportunities for our students to build lasting relationships, prepare for career and college experiences, and promote student engagement and school pride.

We believe that learning happens both inside and outside of the classroom. That’s why we are proud to offer a rich variety of extracurricular activities including academic, fine arts, and athletic activities. Over 75% of MAHS students participate in at least one of our 32 extracurricular activities.
E-Learning Days
In the event of a school closure due to inclement weather, learning expectations for all students continue through e-Learning activities. E-Learning parent information, expectations, and staff expectations are listed below.
Should your child receive specialized educational services at Minnewaska Area High, they may have a different set of e-Learning day requirements. In this case, contact your child’s case manager for further instruction.
